CUSTOMISED TOOL PRODUCTION?
In order to meet your individual toolmaking requirements, the process begins with detailed concept planning.
After clarifying the details, we then go through the following processes:
/// Step 1:
To begin with, a CAD drawing of the tool is created, which is specially made for the customer. After any modification and subsequent approval, it forms the basis for the creation of the tool.
/// Step 2:
After the tool has been designed, the nozzle and calibration device are made in our own toolmaking facility and applied to one of the Salamander extruders.
/// Step 3:
The tool is adjusted until the profile matches the drawing and a sample can be made. Only with the approval of the customer can the desired profile be put into serial production, packaged and shipped.
/// Step 4:
Following production, the tool is cleaned thoroughly, polished and safely stored in the Salamander tool warehouse, so that it can be used at any time for future production of the customer's profile.
